How does Hypnosis work?
Your conscious mind is a critical filter, which filters or edits processed information.  The processed information travels from the conscious mind to the subconscious mind. Under Hypnosis you allow the conscious mind to be bypassed.  The sub-conscious mind is the repository of everything that we have ever experienced or learned and is 7 times more powerful than the conscious mind.  We work with the sub-conscious mind for the purpose of improving our health, emotions, behavior, thought processes and lifestyle!
What happens in a session?
Your first session is usually 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Following sessions are typically shorter – at least one hour in length. Your goals and important interests are discussed with the HypnoCounselor to determine if our methods can help you accomplish what you want to achieve.  A program is designed expressly with your goals in mind.   All our clients are instructed in the techniques to perform self-hypnosis so that strategies can continue and be reinforced when at home, in school or at the office.  Clinical Hypnosis is a safe and non-invasive method.  The general feeling is one of profound relaxation and peace.
Do I have complete control?
Absolutely.
You will not do or say anything that you would not normally do or say.
There is no way you will violate your morality or propriety, or give any secrets away!  You always have a choice and are in control of yourself.  All hypnosis is really self-hypnosis.  The HypnoCounselor does not have any magical power over you!  You will hear everything around you and be aware of what is going on at all times.  Actually, your senses may become heightened.
Can anyone be hypnotized? How does it feel to be hypnotized?
Yes, anyone can be hypnotized if they have a willingness to change the habits and patterns that are preventing them from attaining their goals of success.
While in the state of hypnosis you feel relaxed, focused. You awake feeling refreshed, energized, and positive about the changes you have chosen to make.
